Vidyasagar is a unique music director, who wants to bring the ‘real’ effects to the sounds for his songs. He once went to the exact location to capture the natural sounds of the birds to be incorporated in a song shot in the location. Now he plans to go to a jungle to get some real stuff for a song in director Jananathan’s ‘Peraanmai’ featuring Jayam Ravi in the lead.

The movie has tribal people’s lives as its backdrop. Jananathan, known for his realistic portrayal, has requested Vidyasagar to avoid computer’s influence in the music for the movie that revolves around a jungle and the people living there.

Vidyasagar, therefore, has decided to use the original musical instruments used by the tribes, particularly the bamboo instruments. He is planning to go to the jungle to get those instruments from them. He has also planned to make them play the instruments and use it in the songs and in the background music.

So, we can expect a kind of music that is as natural as the wind in ‘Peraanmai’.
